Particularly pronounced during the typhoon seasons, as evidenced by the aftermath of Typhoon Saola in 2023 which led to the reported fall of 1,545 trees, the underutilization of these resources contributes significantly to the escalating waste management crisis in Hong Kong. This issue is further compounded by the global imperative towards sustainable practices, necessitating innovative solutions to address the burgeoning environmental concerns.
Epoxy & Wood seeks to tackle this environmental quandary by transforming wood waste into bespoke, premium-grade furniture pieces. By repurposing fallen trees into exquisite creations meticulously crafted from hardwood and epoxy resin, we not only breathe new life into these discarded resources but also champion sustainability within the furniture industry in Hong Kong.
